The first of David Cass’s tin-paintings, created in 2017, as the artist embarked upon a series which would eventually result in an installation for the exhibition Where Once the Waters at the 2022 Venice Biennale. This tin measures 6 x 4cm, and 34 x 32cm in its frame.
