Work began on this series of overworked photographs at the same time as Perimetri Perduti. The series is a form of study, adding to Cass’ body of environmentally conscious artworks. These images are of course exaggerations – envisaging inundation in the extreme – but at their core lies the truth that if average global temperature rise is not kept below 1.5ºC (above pre-industrial levels) we will witness permanent inundation around the world.
