One from a recent series of object works, painted in egg tempera and gouache onto a weaving shuttle, found in Apt, Provence last year. In line with David’s series Light on Water, the piece abstractly depicts a cropped sea surface, without sky. Completed in July 2024, the box measures 56 x 6 x 5.5cm.
